I have my eclipse ti's one of which needs a recone so both would need to get it done. I have been thinking of selling the good one and the motor/basket on the other to purchase some tc lms-r's.

Do you guys think the lms-r's would be a better thing to do than the recones on the eclipse ti's? I know the lms-r subs can get real low so idk what to do.

lms R is a big downgrade. the same level is the axis. They even share the same motor.
Well I am not much worried about the small difference in motors. I figured the lms technology would be worth the switch over a recone for the ti's. Lms-r will have more excursion and should play lower.

my type r's will do it so your ti's will. I'd jsut try to find lms coils to put in the 3hp's other then downgrading big time
Playing single digits with force just doesn't happen unless you tune your box to like 10. But that's not what i'm after. Maybe I will see if that can be done but lms coils need a larger clearance gap on the motor. That would mean I would have very thin windings on my lms if I found one and I would have worse power handling. Splaudio said he will recone them with 8layer coils so that's what I'd do.
