Trading in my kicker.........2 Fosgate Hx2 12's or 2 JL Audio W3's .....need to be able to bump loud and clean....hooking up to JBL 1200.1... which subs????

Aren't you the kid whose dad makes millions and millions and you drive an Infinity? I would think youd be able to get some better equipment.....

Anyways, neither of those sub combinations would be good for a JBL 1200.1. The W3's have 300RMS.....Power HX-2's have 1000RMS.....unless you were talking about the Punch series....those would work, but they have pretty bad SQ.

Get 2 RE SE's, 2 Adire Shiva/Tempests, or 2 EDK's....youd be extremely happy. All three are infinitely better than the HX2 and the W3......

Well, you want loud, so the HX2's there...but then you want it clean...so thats the W3's...power or punch HX2's?

Punch - very loud, terrible SQ

W3's - great SQ, don't get all that loud.

W3's wouldnt do that 1200.1 justice. Do yourself a favor and go to any of the above 4 links.....as I said all 4 brands listed are better than the ones you're looking at.

They are good. But i'm not going to have enough money from my L7 to buy 2 $230+ subs. What would you all recomend for around $120 per sub.
