I have about $150 to work with. Can't chose between three things. New subs, new amp, or upgraded wiring + Big3.

I know the smart choice would probably be wiring and Big3, but Im getting sick and tired of these Sony's. They sound like absolute shit. I pretty sure that even on this budget, I could get something better. My only second thoughts about that is that I really want to go all out on my next set of subs. Perhaps an entry level set of Memphis or DD. Im looking for a nice mix of SQ and SPL. As for the amp, I have no idea what I'd be looking for. For the wire, Im thinking of going with 8 or 4g. Pretty much just comes down to whatever I can afford.

you can get a 4 gauge kicker kit on ebay for real cheap..like 50 shipped or something

those are both cheap for 4 gauge...great wire...or you can spend an extra 50 bucks and get the 0 gauge kit

How hard is 0g wire to work with? Im afraid I'll have a hell of a time getting it connected to all the terminals. What size is ideal for the speaker wire?

Dont be affraid of 1/0ga man its not hard at all just use garden shears to cut them and 14ga speaker wire(or what ever the kit comes with) is fine for your set-up...
