decisions, decisions, decisions...need help

Sony XES-P1 Preamp and a Sony XES-X1 Digital crossover... I know these are older than dirt and you can't find them anymore. Is there anything out there now that compares to these pieces? I have asked this question elsewhere and this is what I got...

"In addition to the XES sets, there have been a few other systems capable of doing similar things. The Clarion ADCS1, the Pioneer ODR, the Pioneer DEX-P9 & DEQ-P9 combo, Rockford EPX2, etc... You might look at these pieces as well, and they might be easier to find.

(Or you could buy two of the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 processors. You need 2, because they are only 3-way each)"

I have googled each one to try to learn, and even searched here but the search returns way too much info and I am not sure how to redefine the search to a narrower search. I already have a headunit, Kenwood's DNX 7100. I love it except it does lock up every once in a while. So the Pioneer dex-p9 is out.

Would someone enlighten me on these items????

Ive never used any of them but I hear great things about the Pioneed p9 combo.

have this moved to the HEADUNIT section. JNTAR has a p9 combo.

Are you looking to buy something or? A few people are using the Alpine processor to keep controls at their fingertips.

Altomobile drive-30 and the audiocontrol digital stuff are external digital processors....what exact features were you looking for?
