Deciding what to do

I have a ported 10" rockford fosgate p2 sitting on the back seat of my extended cab truck. I want a little louder sound but mostly better quality sound. I really liked the sound of two 10s in a bandpass (in an suv) but Im not sure how it would sound in a truck. Should I ad an 8 or switch to dual 10s?

Don't add an 8 if you already have a 10. It is best not to mix subwoofer sizes or models.

Why isn't it good to mix sizes? I have heard another truck with 2 10s and an 8 and it sounded great.
