Just booked the following 10 night December cruise with a Junior suite aboard the RCCL Jewel:
9 George Town, Grand Cayman 7:00 AM 6:00 PM Tendered

Has anyone been to these ports? If so, please let me know what excursions you did and your thoughts on them.

I'm thinking about doing Stingray City in the Caymans but the rest of my itenerary is open.

I snorkeled there but didn't do any paid excursions. Awesome visibility, pretty fish some small sting rays.

If you don't scuba dive, take the classes and get certified on the cruise (or before going) and do a dive. Doesn't take real long and it's not real hard and you've got a lot of cruise days on your itinerary. A dive I did in the Caribbean is by far my favorite dive I've ever done. We saw some huge lobsters, an extremely rare fish that made our guide extremely excited, a couple sharks, rays and other stuff. Visibility down there is normally awesome. Might even hook you onto a new hobby.

If not, at least take some snorkel gear. The underwater world out there is amazing. Find the the rocky areas at the beaches for the best stuff.

It's the RCCL private Island off of Haiti coast so it's not gangsta like the mainland. I would assume this is pretty much just a beach similar to the private islands in bahamas by princess & ncl.

I went on a December cruise in 07. Got caught in what they called a very rare December tropical storm, almost hurricane. Was fun as shit! We were mid ship, and you could lay in your bed and feel the ship climbing a wave, then it would just DROP and you'd be weightless.. Then slam down into the bottom of the swell. I dont know what size the seas were, but it was impressive to say the least.

Miami is Miami... Grand Caymen is super nice, like mentioned before try to go diving... Costa Rica is beautiful and can be alot of fun if u like exploring around... And Cartagena is pretty nice too, just don't wander to far from where they say.
