what does that do,looks like 1 side of the box is going to be tuned different than the other.

It just tunes each wave, heres something I got on xtant.com. Its not the greatest but gives you an idea. And the sub and amps work via a test a few minutes ago at 65 Hz, full volume w/o any tuning.

A dual reflex enclosure can be described as a speaker with a ported cabinet on both sides. This system has the advantage of making use of both the front and the back wave of a speaker, and can attain great efficiency. However, like a vented enclosure, when operating below the tuning frequency of the enclosure, the driver may move beyond its excursion limitations. Combine this with the fact that all information is produced by the ports, so, we can’t hear the distortion until it is too late.

Well I'm pretty disappointed in the box. I won my class, but my score was way low. It was my first and only run in the CRX though, so I guess it could be considered testing. I got a 143.2 on the TL and 149.2 on the 190. It was consistently ~6 db off the TL (give or take a tenth here and there.) Next box will be a regular port back sub up configuration. Great meeting the guys from LB and grassroots.

congrats to everyone... forum guys dominated the competition pretty much... i got 2nd in my class with a 146.4 legal. should have ran renegade though, i picked up 4.4dbs with the drivers door open on the tl... i could easily have broke a 150 on the a/c...

good job guys,i just got home,good turn out for the show,by the way that was a ac 180,but like said only about 6 db's off from the term.
