Death Row 12"

Well I finally sold my kicker cvx today and some of you may know that I am looking for a 12" to fill my bass craving needs, anyways I checked out some subs and I really like the Incriminator Audio Death Row 12". I just had some questions

1. Is it worth the price? Especially over the competition . . . TC, ID, Dayton H.O, Alpine Type X

2. I am using a alpine m1000 right now, at 2 ohms it would be nice with the death row sub. I might sell it too, so what amp should I get to replace it?

I was looking at the sundown SAX1200 and the Alpine pdx m12, SAX1500 refurb, all priced between 300-400.

3. What model should I get as far as my options the dual 2 ohm or dual 1ohm?

Ex: If i go dual 2 ohm I can wire it to 1 ohm in the future, with a different, or wire it to 4 ohm and run it at 600watts from my alpine amp, or would it be better to get the dual 1 ohm wire it to 2ohm and run it at 1000watts.

Pretty much which will give me more options in the future to run a stable setup with some of the amps I listed

4. Also I had trouble finding some specifications for the sub, does anyone have those?

5. Unrelated, but if I had a sub that was dvc 4ohm and wired it to 8ohm, would the alpine pdx put out 1200watts at 8ohm? I heard it could but wasn't sure.

Thanks alot!

yes it is defiently worth the price. they are not too common because they dont list their specs so no one buys but the are excellent sounding drivers.

i would give it 1k rms

and they do not give out their specs unless you wrestle for em. i am a rep for the midwest IA dealer and he even has trouble sometimes getting their specs. wierd i know.

but all n all you will love that driver

pm me if your more interested

The specs on any sub are not accurate. However, if the company makes it that hard to get their specs, that just seems not right to me.

i know they pretty much expect for people to buy their drivers and be happy with them
I'm sure nick with change that before to much longer. It's like the fs kick everyone is on right now. It is a cycle of knowledge everyone goes through. In order to get such a low fs, the soft parts are weaker and won't keep up a few months/years later. Also that the listed fs is in no way even close to accurate. More to it then that.... The fs fad comes and goes.

either too lazy or too busy making tha monies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
which is ironic that you say that because I bet a lot more people would purchase IA if specs were on their site

I have to agree I prefer to know what I buy before I buy, maybe I just like doing research though haha. But is it me or do things I ask seem to get off-topic alot?
T/S specs are virtually useless when purchasing subwoofers unless you understand how off they are and how they are figured. Which would then allow you to know that the current method of mathematics is flawed and does not apply to mobile audio products.

soo what dustin basically means is dont concentrate too much on their specs they are not accurate.
