4 12"s in a Buick lesabre....Positioning help please?

So i currently have 4 12s in my trunk..i have them facing outward towards the right and left. Is there a better way to position them for optimal sound? I feel like i should be getting more power out of this system. Im running 4 12" kicker CompVRs with a 2 1000watt amps. Both amps are bridged and running at 2 ohms. Running 8 gauge cable to both amps and a 1 Farad Capacitor between the amps and battery. Any suggestions on optimizing the sound?

Oh I believe you Bassin Buick, the loudest system ive ever heard still to this day was 2 10s in a ford ranger. I am flexing my trunk much harder then that though haha. My trunk is flexing roughly 1-2" and the rear quarter panels are slapping hard. but i still feel i could get better sound by better positioning. Was hoping for some ideas

Yeah , i used to have CVR's. they could dish out the DB's. I just was never impressed with theyre sound or build quality. First thing i would do is upgrade that power cable. If your amps are truly 1000 watts each , you need at least 4 gauge on them and there is no need for the capcacitor. Look here in the wiring/electrical section and read the big 3 thread. That should help you out a lot. And as far as positioning , in a trunk car i have always found subs back port back to work best. But with 4 12's i'm pretty sure your only option will be subs up. which isn't that bad in most cases

and is that really only two 10s? What are the amps mounted too? looks like another speaker box behind there
it is another speaker box. the subs playing are my brothers , the other box is my box which was unhooked at the time. it has a pair of 10 year old pioneer 12's in it like these. Believe me they are unhooked. LOL. They couldnt stand that amp turned up that high. The pioneers would pop like hell. LMAO!!

Try all subs up. Does the rear seats fold down? If so make sure your trunk has room to vent into the car, you dont want the box crammed up against the back seat blocking air flow . Take your 8gauge power wire and use that as subwoofer wire. Use 1/0 from front to rear to a disto block then 4 gauage to your amps. Replace the cap with a drycell.

You need lower gauge wire that 8 gauge is not going to give you enough power flow, also lose the cap! you shouldnt have to have 4 12's in there either you may not have enough space 2 of those kicker in the right box should do that little car justice.
