Death Penalty flex... in a regular cab

Its not clip free, pioneers start to clip at 48.
Most people usually run them at 45/62
Maybe the headunit's INTERNAL amp begins to clip when you turn it up. Did you look at the amp rack? He's got an amp for the full ranges so the only thing the headunit is even used for is signal processing and then it sends out all sound via pre-outs so no clipping. On my headunit, there's even an option to turn off the headunits internal amp if you're using only the pre-outs to drive other amps so the signal is cleaner since you're not running the internal HU amp.

lies.
i was wondering, did you also take those pictures with that w290? and where are you getting metered? i'm in wichita and have been trying to find an in state meter for a long time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
The 2nd and 3rd pics were taken with it.. I'll try to post up some more random pics later when i upload them to photobucket.. and I'm going over to pittsburgh to get metered this friday.. a guy named Steve Benton and does the Midwest SPL circuit..

I'm uploading some pics right now just to show the capabilty of this thing.. probably the best point and shoot camera i've ever had my hands on..

Funny thing about the headunit. When i first got me RSD components, i had them stacked with my door speakers (speaker wires were stacked so it was putting quite a strain on the internal amp in the headunit). well finally the internal amp crapped out and would come on randomly if hit a bump in the road.. haha.. and i needed a 4 channel anyway. i love the Powerbass amp..

I'm really not sure where Steve lives, but i'm thinking its around Union, MO, but i'm not sure.. And i haven't heard anything about the comp in newton.. What does your setup consist of? The only 18's i've ever heard was the ones in the Ranger i walled off almot a year ago. Them Bl's thing got stupid loud off 700 watts a piece..

sweet setup! Have those pics been modifed in photoshop or is that straight off the memory card?
Haha.. Thanks. And i wish i knew how to use photobucket, but no these things came straight off the camera. This things takes amazing quality pics without any modifying on the computer. I can't believe how clear of a shot this will take straight into the sunlight, and even in the dark. The one of the fountain is my background on my laptop, and that pic was taken with the flash off..

Plus the videos on this are very veryclear (720 HD so they better be. haha.). If anyone is looking for a camera i would strongly recommend this one. It's only $225 off dell.com IIRC.

****UPDATE****

Just went to the local comp last night and did a 140 at 42 hz.. Not as good as i was prob hoping for, but i'm satisfied with the system, and the meter isn't everything.. But i met a lot of cool guys there, and a Chevy Blazer walled with 4 15" HDC3's on 4 AQ 2200's that did a 158 and did a 138.? in the extreme class.. I'll have pics in a couple days when i get back home. Lots of interesting installs at this event.
