by chopper i ment motorcycle. plus i was in the middle of no where so i wouldn;t disturb anyone. i don't bump around my house to respect my neighbors.

kicker ftl. all that happened was the tensil leads came apart? you can hear the pop and nothing else failing.. happen on all the kicker comps from over excursion but they take the abuse otherwise

polecat has a point....kinda.... i was looking to blow the sub ..but the box was 1.5@40hz which was in kicker specs..but i was giving it its peak power handling

Im running HT comp at 2x its RMS and it doesnt break a sweat.

remember, peak power goes down in ported enclosures.

And playing a good bit below tuning. I agree with Polecat. How can somebody blame a manufacturer for something that was user error (except in this case it was intentional)?

yes.... all the things that happend in the vid should have blown the sub non the less... kicker still makes great products
