my money's on agp, being pre-2.4ghz p4. but then again, being compaq... may even be pci. and not pci-e.

my money's still on agp. crack the case open, there should be something like 3 to 5 4" white slots along the back side of the case on the motherboard. 4-5"... I dunno. anyway, above those should be a black slot placed further away from the back of the case by about half an inch. that would be your agp slot. that is... if it exists.

It's decent, but requires power from your power supply, and I don't know if your computer came with a sufficient PS. Premade ones usually don't, unless you get one that's designed for gaming. It's worth a shot though, but if you were looking for something around $100 bucks and wanted to do some gaming, I'd personally go with this:

this could be solved by asking is your monitor pluged into the mother board or something thats pluggged into the mother board?
