Need advice of a delicate nature - dealing with another forum member on a trade/sale agreement.
Dude emails me and asks if I want to sell some speakers. I say sure, and quote a price. He says he'd pay my price, but would rather trade a HU for them, and I agree. We mutually agree to ship each other's stuff.
After a week I get no HU and no email. I ask what's up and he says he can't find the wiring harness. Ok. So just pay me. No, gonna keep looking for it.
Another week goes by and no word. I ask WTF? and he says he's working on a "deal". Lo and behold I find a thread in the for-sale forum where he's trying to trade MY speakers plus the HU plus some cash for another item. What a fukkin loser.
Now... he's got my speakers, and I got nada. I guess I should've asked for references, but I took the dude on his word. What can I do?
