Okay, to start this, I'm very frustrated right now. The deal is, BassAddictJ and I swapped amps, my MTX1501D for his Orion 1200. He gets his in a day early, and before I even see the Orion he's got ahold of me saying it's damaged and making a "popping" sound at anything higher than minimal gain.
Now, when I sent it, in fact the day I sent it, was the same day I unhooked it from my car. I sent it working. So somewhere between here and Florida, it got f***ed up.
Having insured it for $400, do you think a "popping sound" is enough to claim for damage in shipping? I don't have the funds to pay for repairs, and even swapping back I will pay shipping for both amps, which is seriously putting me in the hole. I don't know what to do.
What do you sugguest?
