i cleaned the door inside and out with alcohol first.

to get the holes lined up, i did a cardboard mockup and punched the holes until they lined up right, then just put it on the mdf ring and drilled. then i used a bunch of non hardening clay to build up the door so it lay even with the mdf, and stuffed it around the edges inside and out. the circle hole i did with my router. i didnt run into any problems putting the panel back on, except for the pointy piece right in front of your speakers on the inside of the door panel. its only plastic, hacksaw made quick work of it.

edit - raammat is awesome, i used it in my ***** am also and it sticks really well. also used ensolite in the bird but only did the area behind the mids so far, planning on doing the entire floor and hatch with the ensolite also. i still have about 90 sq ft left, probably used 45-50 on the doors. used 30 from this order and finished off my last order. i think i'll need another 62 ft to do the rear doors and roof.

Awesome Job! Its amazing the difference a good deadening job like that makes on the midbass. Its a pain in the ***, but it is definately worth it.

That is a nice door to work with, every car should have the door lock rods inside the door skins.
