ddz1 vs ab500.1

any tests on this? what better daily? i got the z1 at 1 ohm now, unsure on rise but im gettin diff coils to drop lower. i know the ab runs at .5 daily fine but what about a z1? and what goin to do more power with an exide orbtal in front , nsb90 in back with lots of 1/0 ......

if anyone has actually tested the 2 let me know some thauhgts i can get the 500.1 pretty cheap......

not famillar with the z1 but the ab500.1 will run .5 daily. main thing must maintain good voltage. if the voltage drops below 11 volts it is not good. great amp though.

ok whats the lowest you can get a z1 to play at w/o killing it? i just wanna have somethin i can trust to beat the hell outta daily. not that i dont trust the z1 but id like to know whats more proven?

I think you need to send me your amp and I'll do a drop in test b/t it and a IA40.1..then you'll know...$50 wasted in shipping is alot better than $700 wasted in buying another amp..lol

Z1 is a good amp but Z1a blows it away for more music power. But the AB 500.1 is a bad *** amp too. I'd say either Z1a or 500.1 for sure. Or wait for the new Z1b coming soon.

yea lots of people say the 500.1s a good amp ishould get it if i dont like it theres enough z1s left around, or like said find a z1a......

500.1 would be more stable below 1 ohm for daily, but in my personal experience, for competition, the z1 was considerably louder than the 500.1 on my setup.
