I am looking into DD mids to mate with my Morel tweeters. I only need them to play to 1.5k or so and I have 220 RMS to feed them each. It seems to me that the W6.5 will handle more power and the AW6.5 will probably play higher and a tad bit cleaner. I am leaning towards the W6.5 simply for it's robustness. Anyone been able to compare the two? I will probably cross them at 63Hz high pass 24dB/Octave.
