Anyone got any result from bench test that they have done or what they have clamped from one?
yes it does if the power supply is adequate, in this case it looks like the output likes 14+ volts..When you halve the impedance, the power doesn't magically double. You draw more current, produce more heat, and the amp is a considerable amount less efficient. Hence the drop in power. Those are real world tests, not some bullshit bench test for a quick burst of power on a static resistor on a constant 14.4V or whatever.
If you read, it said it dropped to 13.8V, so that combined with the loss in efficiency for running at 1 ohm, it's not that hard to believe.
hahahaha, power supply in adequate...you might wanna look at the inside of this amp and understand a little more, the supply side of this amp is grossly over built....This amp will make above stated power 4k+ driven into lower impedances, and around 2700rms at 1ohm
