when you cut impedance in half say 4 to 2 ohm, your amperage should double.. most of the class D designs have 55 to 75 volt rails..

i don't know who done that specific test, but it doesn't follow logic..

Yea that test isnt to accurate. I own one and ive got 2900 out of it before.

When you halve the impedance, the power doesn't magically double. You draw more current, produce more heat, and the amp is a considerable amount less efficient. Hence the drop in power. Those are real world tests, not some bullshit bench test for a quick burst of power on a static resistor on a constant 14.4V or whatever.

If you read, it said it dropped to 13.8V, so that combined with the loss in efficiency for running at 1 ohm, it's not that hard to believe.

yes it does if the power supply is adequate, in this case it looks like the output likes 14+ volts..

inductive loads aren't the same, but it gives a good idea..

seems as it will do 2400 @ 14.4, but they need to upgrade the power supply and raise the rail voltage..

i have got 4300 at.25 with rise to .82 and voltage drop to 12 volts

This amp will make above stated power 4k+ driven into lower impedances, and around 2700rms at 1ohm
