Hey I know I'm going to get an MD2, sorry for hopping on the bandwagon lol. Question is, would the 1950 it puts out be sufficient for 2 ported DD3500 series subs? I have looked around and it seems people say you would want over 1k per, but will they shine with the MD2? I'd prefer people that have experience with the subs to answer but... chime in if ya want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

From what I've heard (sorry havent heard the 3500s), they like 1500+ each...that's on the DDaudio forum. Now, 1000 each should be sufficient, but from what I've heard, they can take 2000 daily without a problem

I've done many systems that use a pair of 3500 subs on single 1100w-1800w amplifiers. I don't build things that don't get ridiculously loud. 1900+w is going to get real ****ed loud if you have a somewhat efficient enclosure. There is no guesswork to that.

Cool, thanks guys. Just wanted a couple opinions from people that have heard em b4 I purchased. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i have heard two 3512s ported off of a c2k 9.0, and it was super clean. not the loudest bass ever, but super clean.
I'm not familiar with the amp?

Good tho, I'm looking for SQL. The XXX15 that I had sealed was loud enough, so I'm pretty positive two 3512's with ~1k a piece ported will git r' done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be like giving a XXX ~1.3kw... I tried that and it was WAY better off of like 2k.

Ordered my comp sets today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Can't wait to get my new setup underway!

Hey an MD2 would run at .75 just fine right? I guess I should ask flakko. I midaswell get D1.5's instead of D2's and run them @ .75.

Itll run fine at .5, so it will do fine at .75 also.

Youve seen the 5431 threads about it right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Heh, yeah I guess I have seen them. I just realized im pretty retarted tho... 2 subs with d1.5's dont run at .75 lol... I was thinking 3 ohms... If it runs fine daily @ .5 tho I guess I could get d2's and run em at that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Im running my 2 L7 12's at .5 and dont think they can take much more then the MD2D is puttin out in my enclosure..........6.5cuft at 35hz
Heh... they are probly gettin way more than they should be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

That must be loud as shit!

How is that one of the best amps on the market when for the same price you can buy a Us Amps AX3000DE (3000 watts rms) for the same or better yet an AX2000 for 900 bux less (2400 watts rms)..........??? Just a thought. I don't have any experience with the Zapco stuff although i've heard it's decent stuff. For high end at the shop we tend to stick with the D9 Diamond Audio amps for SQ and Us Amps for sheer volume and ballz.
