So my friend has this 2600 watt brutus (probably overrated, right?) and he wants to get as loud as he can in his 2001 f150 supercrew. He's looking to go behind the seat but doesn't like the idea of DD1508 because they don't put out enough watts.. 500 watts RMS i believe... so if he put three back there, would he risk blowing any of them with 2600 watts? i may be completely off when i say the 1508s RMS at 500 but i think that's right...
also, i think even three 8s behind the seats in his f150 might be too much because there just isnt enough airspace..
does anyone have a remedy? or, does anyone know how to push 2600 watts to about 5 and 5/8 mounting depth.. =//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
maybe another thing to consider is that he wants all this done quick, he wants subs in his house in like 2 weeks... can DD get 2 or 3 subs out by then?
thanks for the help.
