yea...MT would definitely be the cheaper route...but I couldnt image an MT taking a DD....granted the DD im sure could handle quite a bit more power...So I guess it depends how much power you have, and how much you want to spend.

as far as any sub sounding good with the right install....i have heard nothing but bad things about our old friend...the MTX RFL....fart machine.

oh yeah i know it dont have sq but it gets real load from what i have been told... i think the MT would be the better route i thought the Mark Antony would be good enough for that sub people run the orion 2500 on them all the time so i figured that would be good... but then again i am not sure if i can run the MA at .7 for the MT

someone on here used to claim he ran his mark antony at .5ohm daily and got close to 3200 watts from it, he was a moron though. even at .7ohm you'd be hard pressed to get 2500 out of that amp. with only 2.5kw the 9900 shouldn't be considered as it needs double that to even begin to want to move.

those dds are monsters. go for it if it is something you want and can afford.

how do i get ahold of him? i just want hard hitting deep bass... the DD i have heard would probly be the best bet but with the amp i have the MT would probly be the smarter and cheaper route to take... i eventually want 2 18" but for the budget i am going with one for now...

the DD will dominate....i dont see the MT's takin the world records like the DD's

there just isnt a better sub out there.......Anyone taken a look at the world record cars?

DD is dominant hands down.....i dunno why they dont get more hype

2500w (and an over rated 2500w at that) just isnt much to push either of those subs.

that was my thought a while back. I'd personally sell it and get a IA 20.1 and an SX 15". Now if you want all out just get the 9918 and a 40.1 when they come out.
