since you already have 3 of the Group 34s just add another 3-4 like the guy above said and you'll be good to go.

of course you wont get the full potential out of it as you would by going 16V but it will

take care of your need as you put it of having sufficient voltage for a few burps during competitions... You should also be able to source out some additional Group 34s on the cheap so thats an added bonus for you

Vic you need 16v for this amp to make good powre.

Burping at 0.5 ohm wont make any power, especially on a 14v set up. The amp needs to go loooooooooow and have voltage to make the numbers.

i thought about the yellow tops because they are cheaper. but like tinted said above and other people i heard from, i should go 16 volts for this amp.

i think i may start leaning more towards the 16v.

if i decide to go 16 volts which battery model would u guys recommend.

i know powermaster and kinetik are both good but is one better for my application then the other?

also is there any other 16 volt battery brands u guys know of that would be good.

your application is a simple one.

SPL.. you want to get the maxximum power from the amplifier for burps..

whether you go with 4 Kinetiks or Powermaster you're going to get the same results pretty much. Go with whatever is cheaper for you.

dd tech just emailed me back from last week and told me i can actually use one batcap 9600 16 volt .
