you know what it is and what it can do... $675 shipped or trade for smaller amp (1Kw-2Kw) and cash. I also have an etched plexi glass back plate for an additional $25.

I painted the positive terminals on it red so I didn't have to try and see the tiny symbols on the amp. You can also see the DD logo on the amp itself is "kind of" red as well. I filled it with red paint then wiped it out so it isn't extremely in your face or anything and I think it looks pretty good.

Example clamp test:

12 Volts:

4.6 ohms = 2279W

2.3 ohms = 3405W

1.15 ohms = 4188W

14.4 Volts:

4.6 ohms = 3042W

2.3 ohms = 4461W

1.15 ohms = 5358W

Yes, they can run at .5, with proper electrical of course.

Z1's put out a little more power than the Z1a's from what I hear. Not sure what "problems" either have but I haven't had a single issue running this daily at 1ohm with the gains at around 3500~.

EDIT: the "problem" I found is that they get hot when ran under 1ohm daily. Some people have had no issues with this, some people have. Again, my personal experience has been great and I haven't had a SINGLE issue at!
