alright i want to know what this thing can do...

i either will run it a .5ohm or 2ohm, so what are the specs at these ohms'

can it run on .5ohm daily?

eltric..... 250dc alt and 110ah better with a starting battery

will never play it with the car off

yes they will do .5 ohms. check forum.soundpressure.com for more info. Its DD's forum

*edit- looks like they got about 5000 watts from it at 14.4

i do this right .........

5358 watts at 1.15ohm / 78.5volt= 68.25amps at 14.4

and with say 75% eff its about 4000rms

those numbers are raw output numbers, efficiency is already accounted for. To make that power it may be drawing ~7000 watts from your electrical system to put out those 5000 watts. You follow? They're measuring the power on the speaker outputs so power supply efficiency is irrelevant

Those are AC amps on the speaker outputs. The amp itself is probably drawing somewhere close to 500 Amps DC to make that power

thats a lot of power ****! shit what do i do it i only have one run of 1/0.. you think one battery would cut it or should i get 1 or 2 more.... i never play my system with the car off

How big is the main battery and the extra battery? You have that DC Power alt too right?

main is a duralast and otherone is a datasafe 110ah........ my alt is a 250amp DC

Give it a try and watch the voltage. You may want to add a second battery in the back if you plan to run at .5 ohms.

alright sounds good..... i cant run it at 5k anyways im thinking the mojos will take maybe 2k each
