I think a fully loaded BTL could take some more. As well as the DD could.

Depends on which ones you look at. You can get the older 9515f used for around the same price as a new BTL. If you want the 9515g, then, you're looking at a lot more (LouisianaCRX was selling 9510gs for $500 apiece on Soundpressure, so the 15 is definitely going to be pricey).

Bottom line: BTL is roughly the same price as a used, older-model 9515, and much cheaper than a new, current model 9515.

I'd go with the BTL hands down. Great subs, great customer service, and the price difference will allow you to get 2 BTLs or 1 BTL and your amp for the price of a new 9515G
