SOLD DD 9917 For Sale/Trade

I have a DD9917 that has just been sitting in my garage for about 2 years. I had it reconed and recoiled a couple years ago. When I first hooked it up, my amp sent some **** to the sub and scratched to voice coil. The cone and dust cap are still brand new, just needs new coil for like $120 or so. Willing to sell or trade for something creative.... Make me some offers!!!!

Is this a Prototype of something? I have never seen a DD motor without Vents on it... Could u show the bottom of the motor

it still plays... what happened was when i hooked it up initially, didnt play. realized my rca's werent plugged in. so like a dumbass, i just plugged them in while the deck was on. loud thump, and first sec of play, vc scratched. DD told me to play it at low volume and it would work itself out and that there was prolly no problem, but i never did. it still plays, but i ended up playing it for a couple hours just to hear m first 18, so now it scrapes pretty bad. so long answer to your question, but no it is not blown.

they change the motors all the time .. they always upgrade... and when they do it's a new series... true 9917's only had 3 versions up to a c series .... but several are 95 motors that have been coverted into 9918's... like the e, f, and g 95 motors...

i got 2 2515 dds that i will trade ya there about 3 months old used for like 6 hours and then put them back in the box and got my 95s back out
