thats not a F motor, it has been reconed with F-softparts and basket from the looks of it. The motor is way old, from the pictues it seems as if it has no cooling channels in the motor. If you could get some pics of the motor close you would solve my problem.

Away from home and not able to take more pics but the serial number or product number is listed on this site which is on the basket that shows 9500f. I was told that this one was the F but was upgraded to have extra magnet slug. You may b correct though as this is the first one I have owned. EITHER way this sub is wicked raw and for the price you could get it upgraded from DD if it did not have what you wanted for way cheaper than anything else I have seen.

How does the welding wire compare to knuconcepts r something of that caliber? More strands? Is it flexible? Pm me with what you would be willing to pay for on the sub.

they will know more than me about that sub its an all DD fans forum basically.

but if it dosent have cooling channels on the motor than it is not a F-motor or anything above a C motor.

good luck, and even if this is an older motor DD designs the newer motor so they will work the same as older motors. The newer ones just have better cooling ect....

Evidentially my sub has a C motor but a F basket? I assume the guy I bought it from had it reconed with a F basket. Not sure if this is the case but this is the first dd I have owned so I just have to go with what someone else says as I dont know as I was sold the sub as a 9515f as it says 9500f on the basket.
