but on a serious note it sort of between the 3500 and the 9500. not as much cooling and less machine work on the motor in order to keep the price down. but as far as loudness i do not think you could tell the difference between it and the 9500 with the ear.

I have an email from the owner/operator of AQ stating the HD315 is most comparable to the 9515 in output and sound quality. Take it for what it is worth.

HD315 seems to net you a lot more sub for your money.

I remember reading on Termpro that the HD3 also has a softer suspension than the 9500 but I could have misread something...
