First off, I am a Digital Designs fanboy. Although the coil blew in my first one, I had to go back. This is a great driver, the SQ is great while still keeping a semi good SPL. The customer service from DD is also amazing. I was sent a new motor and vc within 3 days of calling them. They also offered me a free re-cone kit which I gladly accepted. The look is a little rough, but you grow to love it. The ONLY thing that makes this subwoofer a little worse, is the size of the VC, its no 4" HCCA coil, but it can withstand a great amount of power.

Overall, 9/10.

can you go a little more in depth about the sound? How loud is it? what size type and tuning box? What amp and car? For a start?

We run two of them in my wifes mustang for a few months. SPL tune box got a top of 152.3 out of it. had a memphis 1500 on each one at 1ohm the amps are 2ohm. The 25's do great and sound real good, they get just at deep as the other series. DD says they are a great sub for bandpass setups, but we have not tried them that way yet.

I have 3 DD 2512's in my Galnt and wouldnt trade em for anything. I will be upgrading soon to the 9512"s. DD 4 Life
