DD 2515 vs 3515

IM in the market for a new sub and i have a SAZ 1000 and im wondering which would be better for this amp. Im not upgrading amps unless i can find one for 200 dollars that would be better than the my SAZ 1000 but if im getting a dual 2 ohm sub is that going to be enough for the 3515 or should i just go with the 2515.. Drop some knowledge or suggestions on me guys.. Oh yea its going in the trunk of a 1995 Impala. and I plan on putting it in a ported box if that matters.

I would go ahead and get the 3515. The 2515 will handle that power but I love the 3500 series.

Save your money and just go with the 2500 series.

It should handle it fine.

DC Level 4 could be another option. The 2500's are good, capable subs. but the SAZ is underrated and could move the 3500 sufficiently

With the power you have the 2515 would be fine.

would you go with the 3500 if you were getting it for the same price as the 2500 though im just getting a decent deal on the 2500 but im getting a real good deal on the 3500 about the same price actually. but it im not gonna get a bigger amp unless i find one for 200 bucks new or like new. But if the 3500 wont be pushed well would it be worth having if the 2500 will be slamming.

If you can get the 3500 for close to the same price, I would get it.

I say the 3515, has a more powerful magnet, it will utilize that power better than the 2515. Both will work tho, you cant go wrong with either sub.

Havent heard of DC but thats not saying much i just heard about DD subs like 2 weeks ago. Tell me about them if you dont mind. Have you heard them compared to DD subs. I was going to get 15L7 but some of my friends said i can get much better subs for the same price so here i am LOL

Your friends are right.

DC lvl3 will work as well. Cant go wrong there either.

3515 if you still want to go with DD.

are there any big differences between the 25's and 3500's? or just power handling?

i have an saz 2000d and have been looking at the DD subs too

personally, id rather have head room int he sub department, i don't want to come close to burning anything up or having the posibiliy of over excursion

the differences are 2500 has 2.5" coils and 160oz motor, 3500 has 3" coils and 240oz motor. DD claims the 2500 will be louder then the 3500 under 1500Watts. Personal I love the 2500's but if you plan on buying another 1k amp later get the 3500. If you think ur gonna be fine with what you have save ur money and just get the 2500. 1k isnt gonna hurt either sub unless u clip it. Then it doesnt matter what sube ur using.
