In terms of overall output - that's only limited by how loud your speakers can get without becoming nonlinear.

what is typical volume(in db's) that people turn there system up to when competing in a competition. I know in certain classes you gain points by achieving certain db's but they have to have some sort of volume standard for comparing different set-ups.

I was touching a 158 on music and when you turned it down, the bass sounded GREAT. Was very responsive and clear.
