If you want the real deal go for a termlab. However, they're $650 brand new and require a computer to run.

I have one and I think that you need a minimum of windows xp.

http://www.makeitlouder.com search for it on ebay its like 69 bucks plus shipping. It works pretty good and supposably it's less sensitive than Termlab if not almost accurate with it. Very basic and have to have a nice DMM to use it and have to convert the mV to DB everytime you want a reading

I have an oldschool laptop i'm running the termlab on. It has 350 mhz, 128 mb of ram, just takes about 30 seconds to load up and afterwards its fine. runs without a problem. its best to have a laptop unless you have a long *** cat 5 cable.

i dont feel he needs to be as accurate as a term, from reading the 1st post

i have an epic 160 indash epicenter and spl mic and volt meter, for the money it works great, not as accurate as term, mine reads almost exactly though, but it may be where i have it mounted
