I like to keep mine at 145.7 debeez, nothing more nothing less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

this is an odd question...ban? lol jk. I would think that when I am playing music decently loud a 130-135. When I really listen to it loud, 144...I wouldn't recommend that nor anything higher for longer than a min. or so. But you will prob. get some damage lol. 120 should be fine, make sure no distortion an your good to go!

As loud as needed without being overbearing...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

****, Trigger beat me with the voice of reason.

yeah, I doubt your mids are hitting 120, unless your running horns and 8s or someithing Most components wont' hit that, I wouldn't think anyway. 120 of bass will damage your hearing with prolonged exposure, or short periods over a long period of time, aka daily driving. 120db's A-weighted will damage your hearing instantly, or within a minute or so.

A weighted is a "fancy" way of saying frequencies that are treble. Since your ears get less sensative at very high and low frequencies, and peak near 2-3k, you can do hearing damage with midrange easier. A- weighted scales in regard to decibel ratings are those that are considered "loud" to the ear. Meaning something near 1-5k, near the peak of hearing. Here's quick and easy reading.
