dB Drag World Finals 10/10-12/2008

uhh....ok

I am referring to the fact that everytime we go to world finals (or any major show that Tommy is at), we had to rebuild at least 12 of his subs. This weekend, we had 2 sub failures. NO sub failed due to a coil loss, spider tearing, glue releasing, or ANY of the reasons the old subs did EVERY SINGLE TIME he ran his truck at a major show. Matter of fact, I never smelled that dreaded stench of burned coil the entire weekend!
thats a good thing. how many DP's have u had to recone in the past 6 months to a year?

SO the "king of bass subs" are specifically designed for Tommy?
Custom.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Are they just Lethal Injection's or Death Row's with a custom dustcap?
Custom.

They are LI's but I don't know if they have anything special done to them.Probably not seems how they are pretty bad *** to begin with.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Nope.

They are designed for Tommy's application.

Woah now, that is wrong. Not trying to call you out or anything, but they ARE custom made for Tommy's truck. They are definitely not a LI. They are designed to work in a very small enclosure and handle tons of power.

from my understanding they were originally built with Tommy in mind of course.

However the goal and priority for these is for resale purposes...

this is straight from the man Tommy himself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That would probably kill a lot of people's scores. Especially if you have to run 2 or 3 times back to back. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I didint do a single run with the vehicle on at finals

granted i couldnt bacause of my voltage regulator... i still never saw below 16.5 volts tho

Exactly. He plans on selling these at his shop, and demoing them at shows he attends.

thats what Tommy and I talked about on the weekend.

everyone also keep an eye out for Tommy in an upcoming issue of PASMAG //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
