dayton hf vs. ascendant assasin

My friends wants an 8" sub for his CRX and i'm looking at both of these subs

the Dayton RS HF 8"http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-456 and the Assasin 8" http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=162

The Dayton has a lower Fs than the assasin, but the assasin has more Xmax. Power and wiring ohm doesnt matter. Just want something to sound loud enough and clear.

I did a little modeling and it seems to be that the Dayton is louder and flatter. What do you guys think is the better buy? both are around the same price.

dont know if those two are set in stone but i hear alot of rave about the soundsplinter 8s...

both of those above look awesome for the benjamin budget, though...

yah i saw that ss rli 8 but thats kinda outta the budget, costing almost $200 with shipping

I'd give the new Assassin a whirl. I've got three of the previous offerings and I absolutely love them.
