Who hear really enjoys Dave Mathews's music other than me? I will just let you have their names and maybe a couple links to some good stuff. Discuss how amazing this band is, escpecailly(sp) when you smoke a lil bit of pot before they play for you.

Dave Matthews may be the most overrated musician that has ever been around. I also believe that any music where you have to "smoke a little bit of pot before they play" is not music I would enjoy, since I do not smoke. That is just my opinion. I'll keep quiet now.

thanks for the input, but i have to disagree because each and every person in his band is incredible at the instument that they play, and dave can just sing to it. I suggest listening to more than the music that is played on the radio. If you feel like chillin out then that is who i throw in the cd player.

I've heard most of his songs, hell, even watched the live dvds they put out. Now that I think about it, I probably just don't like him because all of my friends that are stoners listen to mainly Dave Matthews and really nothing else. Suppose it just got old.

Lol, you're not the first person to suggest that. There are various reasons which I have stated in previous threads about why I choose not to. Nothing against people that do, just never really found it appealing.

why? what did he do to you? I heard from some people that he is really cool and will hang out with you.

Uh oh, hopefully this didn't just turn into another marijuana thread. I have not smoked for personal reasons. If other people choose to, that is their business.

I'm not really a fan of that type of genre anyways. I'm more of the underground hip-hop fan. Dave just reminds me of bad associations I guess. I'm more of an upbeat music type of guy. I guess I just don't see how he has such a large fan base when his musical talent isn't really miraculous by any means. I'm not saying he's a bad musician, because he isn't. I just think he is incredibly overrated. I have class in the morning..
