Data Cd in Headunit

I use itunes to burn my cd's because of my ipod but it says in their help folder a data cd will hold all files so i burnt the cd with my mp3's and then some songs from my real cd's which were ripped as AAc files. So why won't my Alpine 9855 or my buddies 9835 read the AAC files? what can I do to fix this?

well im pretty sure the alpine manual atleast on the 9847 states that it wont play mp3's from itunes because of some blah blah copyright ect. ect. so i would imagine that's why could be wrong tho

ok so should i convert all my aac files to mp3?

yes, or .wma format either or and i would try to burn with nero or roxio or something like that and burn them in data format or roxio has a setting for mp3 format btw best of luck to you and hope i helped
