There's been a number of people lately who had 'good feedback' who either turned straight-up scammer, or decided **** it, they didn't need to work to keep their rep, they'd just blow people off until they felt like messing with it.
Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get any help from the cops if you sent the guy a money order... unless you've got an invoice or something. All he has to say is that you owed him money for something... consulting fees, loaning you money at the strip club, whatever. It's he said/she said. I'd still try the cops, he might get a little nervous if they decide to show up and ask him about it, but I doubt they'll even do that. Most police depts these days are overworked already, and your $320 isn't a top priority to them.
