Damplifier Pro or Dynamat extreme?

Most will tell you Second Skin. Personally I've ran nothing but Dynamat Extreme in my van and Cactus Sounds deadeners and had no problems with either.

Having tried both, I'd recommend DP long before DE. You can also look into Raammat's BXT II.

When comparing Second Skin Products to Dynamic Control Products make sure you are comparing apples to apples.

Damplifier Pro is the WRONG product to compare to Dynamat Extreme.

Instead, you should be comparing our regular Damplifier to Dynamat Extreme.

Here is how it works:

Dynamat Extreme

Butyl adhesive

4 mil foil

.45 lbs per sq ft.

Damplifier

Butyl adhesive

4 mil foil

.45 lbs per sq ft.

Damplifier Pro

Butyl adhesive

6 mil foil

.65 lbs per sq ft.

You can see that Damplifier and Dynamat Extreme are equal in terms of specs, where as Damplifier Pro offers 50% more foil and 30% more adhesive by weight.
