My back teeth (on the right side) have been hurting for a few days now, and progressively gotten worse. So tonight, I'm looking in my mouth, to find some wisdom teeth coming in. The wisdom tooth coming in doesn't hurt, but it is pushing my back molar into the tooth in front of it causing some pain. I can only imagine its going to continue to get worse and probably **** up the rest of my teeth.

No big deal, except my dad got fired a month ago, and we have no health insurance. How much is this shit gonna cost me because I'm probably going to have to pay out of pocket? Or should I purchase health insurance and then get it done? Only thing is, I don't know how long I'll be able to wait if the pain continues to increase.

I have a set of fishing pliers and will yank it for free.......
my dad has pulled quite a few hooks out of people in his day. i was thinking about picking up some valium or something on campus and letting my dad test his dentistry skills with garage tools. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

400-600 per molar. Mine did the same thing between 17-18 and i got away without having them pulled. I am 19 now and still have them and thankfully they don't hurt and came in correctly. You may want to wait and just see if you can handle the pain for a few more months unless it get's really severe. The dentists will recommmend getting them pulled, but as long as your teeth aren't being moved by them you will be fine.

They might hurt like a ***** for a few months though, and it will be irritating at times

about $600 per molar. I had all4 out at the same time cuz I had insurance.
$600? Fantastic! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

It should be about $100 for a tooth extraction. Well around here anyways. Just call some dentist offices.
$100? It costs that much just to see a dentist. I read that they are going to have to do an xray first before they even do anything, which I'm sure is going to be around $100 just by itself.

whatever you do, for the love of god man don't go to western dental... don't know if they have those where you are but they are butchers....
noted.

Did your wisdom teeth coming in hurt? Because the actual wisdom teeth don't hurt at all. The tooth closest to the wisdom tooth coming in is being pushed forward, into the molar in front of it. That is what's causing me pain.

I would go to a dentist and see if they will come in properly first. One dentist appointment and a month or so of pain killers is going to be cheaper than having them extracted.

Although, if you already have issues with crowding, you'll probably need them yanked. I had some crowding issues that got fixed with braces, but there was absolutely no room left when my wisdom teeth came in. Things came in sideways because they had no room to trun upwards. They actually had to cut up my gums to get to them.

all my back teeth hurt. My gumbs were sore and everything and i could barely eat.

I had severe crowding too, and i got away with not getting them pulled, the dentist said i had the biggest teeth he had seen. I think he was talking about the roots.

go to the welfare office and see if they will help you or do what I had to and go castaway on it...Use a large head phillips screwdriver and a mallet to break the tooth and then use your fingers to pull out the pieces by wiggling them and then use some pliers to pull out the stubborn pieces...... It is very dangerous so if you have someone that will do it for you then all the better, I had noone to help me so it took many hits to finally break that tooth into 3-4 pieces... To say it hurts is an understatement

i've had my wisdom teeth start coming in the past year, i thought i needed them pulled because i was getting pain, but it passed. They would hurt for about a week or two on end but it passed. I'd give a month or two, if they are still hurting then get them pulled.
