well today while i was redoing my wiring in my truck and taking out the backseats and the jacks and other misc. hardware i dropped a nice heavy metal plate onto my treo tsx 10, it cracked the cone in two places and is not repairable, im thinkin of goin re audio se 10's now, or should i find another set of tsx's. What are your guys' opinions on the tsx and the se in terms of which one is a better overall subwoofer?

Theyll be gettin 700 rms each also

i was hoping for bri487 to pop in and tell me his opinion on the tsx's vs the se's but in his profile it says hes banned. Does anyone know why and what happened?

also one more thing, while i was reconnecting the negative post back to my battery one of the 1/0 power wires from my big 3 came out of the metal terminal, i crimped them by hammering the crimp down when i installed the big 3. How do you guys crimp your 1/0 terminals so that its strong and doesnt fall apart?

once you crimp them, torch and fill them with solder.

get pics of the cracks.....i dont believe its notrepairable.....with the right adhesives and gentle enough work.....any kind of cone crack cane be repairable........now granted it may not sound good/add weight to the cone/ look hideous/ make it sound worse......as long as the VC/spiders/tensil leads are good, patch that ****er up and use it until you get something new...at least youll have something til you get the new subs
