My point was that extremists of any faith or belief are dangerous. Extreme fundamentalist Christians in this country, the paramilitary organizations over in Ireland like the IRA, Russian radical groups, etc, etc...

It bothers me when people seem to make the implication, like Expy did (at least it came across that way to me), that somehow "terrorism = Middle East/Islamic fundamentalism". It's very dangerous to think that. It's a concept, and you can't extinguish a concept. Seriously saying that you should suspect all Muslims because of the actions of a radical sect is highly ignorant and divisive, and although he has every right to say that, I sincerely hope more people have the sense to see through it. I'd rather be safe at this point in time than sorry. It could be loosened back up down the road. The acts that are being committed are in greater magnitude by the islamic extremists than any other terrorist group that currently exists. I also don't see black people or any other group driving planes into buildings and doing ******* bombings constantly through out every year. I don't desire to be open to a religion that is committing more violence than any other at the current time.

Go back to the beginning of time. Man was made for survival. Judgement is required for survival. My human instinct is telling me beware of these individuals. We could change our way of handling this after the world gets these extremists under control. The Japanese have been interned, Italians and the Germans have been interned. I understand at those times the US did what it had to do to remain secure at the time. So taking steps against a particular religion at this time is using the same steps that we have used in the past to secure america. I know from listening to you, you were totally against this action that was taken but it worked.

I guess we could use passivism to justify doing nother about anything and it sounds like that what you feel we should do.

I guarantee they won't mess with China. China hasn't had this wave of softness come over it yet.
