I don't mind the weather so much, I just wish it were a little more consistent.

I hear ya. Its the plains though and that will never change. Its a lot better than Nebraska's weather. I liked the weather overall best when I lived in Newport Beach, but the metroplex is a nice compromise of living conditions IMO. No place is perfect.

land sucks - flat and in the middle of nowhere...

could go on but that is where I'll start..

bullshit, the houses out in dallas are all nice, and taken care of, well most of them. almost everyones lawns look green as hell and taken care of, and brick mail boxes, and the neighbor hoods look very nice, except in the ghetto *** areas

stay away... texas and especially Dallas - Ft. worth area is the worst part of the Unites States even worse than North Jersey.
I have family there and let's just say that is the reason why I don't visit there often.
