daisy chaining 2-2500D's prob...

Does anyone know how to correctly do this??? 2-Orion 2500D amps. Ive tried following the directions in the manual but it will not work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I set 1 amp to master set it to 50VAC put a rca cable on the output to the other amps preout in set all gains and eqs, bass boost... off and down all the way and moved the switch to copy. Im not getting nothing out of the slave amp. So I tried the other amp did same thing above to it and nothing out of it. What am I doing wrong???

check for blown or smelly charred parts in the amp, test each amp individually

I dont think you can do that with 2500D's without a bridging module. Unless the new ones can and I am behind the times.....

i didnt think the 2500D's had that capability. i know the viper 2500.1's did. just get a pair of RCA Y Cables and match both gains accordingly on each amp.

Cant do that with the Orion 2500. Someone said they could awile ago, but never said how they did it.

X2! I just got a splitter and gained matched them with the dmm. Im still confused why it didnt work??

2500D's dont have a slave/master switch on em....do they? if they do i never noticed one on mine. good thing you got the rca splitters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif they dont like to be daisy chained at all, ive heard of voltage spikes through the rca's and frying one of the 2500D's when they're daisy chained...so how many VAC's are you getting through each of them??

I maxed out on gaining spl at 51VAC wired .75ohms to each amp, Its really hard to get an exact Vac on both amps though + - like .2 or .3 that VAC was at 53hz. Holy voltage dropp when rev the engine to 2k rpm drops to 1.5Krpm thats with extra batt and 200 amp alty.

Nope Im not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif test enclosure #1 sucked maxed out with 146.67db at dash car sealed up. Im pretty sure the 2 4" aeros were not big enough for the enclosure but thats all I had room for. Started test enclosure #2 today sub,sub,port. Slot port will have 94.5 area, cant wait till its done to get this tested.
