well i got the hole cut out of my box, but the sub is to deep and it hits a small part of the port along the back wall, i think im just going to cut part of it off... like a 2 inch half circle kind of thing, cuz its barely hitting it, how much will this change tuning?

yeah, jacking out the front would be better.

depends, how deep it goes in, if it needs like another 2-3 inches, then u should just build another box. OR make like a 2 inch ring and fiberglass the front of the box. Might look pretty good too.

it was a TINY part stopping it from going in, so i just cut it off, i really needed to do a test fit so i just did it, pics of the box are up now in another thread....
