here is a pic of the crossover included with the diamond d661s component set.

why are there 8 terminals?? +/- from amp to xover, +/- from xover to tweeter, +/- xover to woofer.. i am confused, i thought components only required a 2 channel amp? what are the other two termnals for?

i dont have em yet. just looking at a picture and was confused..they were shipped and i have a tracking number, so they are on the way, now i am just waiting....

what is RAF?

RAF is as stated...Rear Acoustical Fill. It gives the availability to run rear fill from That crossover while still only using a 2 channel amp. If your running rear speakers in your car, you can use that output to power them.

is it for a third speaker.. i am trying to understand why u are being so vague..
if he knew he would've helped. but anyway, RAF is this:

Each D(x) component crossover has a third set of outputs marked "RAF." This stands for Rear Acoustic Fill. This output can be used to power an additional speaker off the same channel without effecting the impedance load on the source unit. This output allows 15-20% of the total power to the extra speaker and is unfiltered. However, due to the added series resistance the connected speakers low frequency output will be slightly damped. The effect is similar to a 6dB filter at approxiametely 200Hz.
