D4 and D2?

I was looking on ebay at solobarics and ive seen that some of the new o6 models have a d2 or d4 at the end of the l7 part of name wut is this and are they better than the regular type of s12l7s instead of s12l7d2 or s12l7d4?

well the l7 is more expensive cause its an upgrade from the l5.

Maybe you were lookin at a solox and not an l7 or l5 or the seller was a dumbass and mislabled

d4 = dual 4ohm voice coil

d2 = dual 2ohm voice coil

l5 and l7 are two different models. the l7 is the higher end model while the l5 is the lower end model of the solobaric family. their is no performance/durability/quality/etc difference between a dual2 or dual4 speaker. its ONLY configuration difference. the d4 or d2 could cost more, but not much (maybe $10-30, why? who knows. maybe because they produced more of the other).
