How well would it do with about 700wts to it..? What would be ideal to get the most out of it..?

yeah man theyr 600rms. They can just handle a whole lot more.

Well.. could two D2's get to that point of EarPearcing with about 700-750wts tuned to 35ish..? What would be the difference in sound in the D2 between tuning to 32 and tuning to 37..?

with 700 watts a piece they'd get **** loud and still sound good. Tune it between 32-35hz...bout 2 cubes each. peace

The sale on the Magnum's ended a long time ago. It was a very short sale that will never be repeated. umm....my guess is that he did a one time sale to entice people to buy his product. Then after those people are satisfied, they tell other people how great the magnum d2 is, and he keeps it at $300 shipped now b/c IMO that is still a steal! i mean, he could easily sell then for $350-400 b/c it is def. in the perfomance range of the brahma/xxx, also...nick needs to actually make some money...not lose money lol. peace

i'd say it'd be right around 50/50...i mean ported at 35hz will be loud and the magnum has great SQ...so it might lean lil either way. Mine will have more power...and for daily i'm tuning mine aroudn 30hz....peace

im gonna be buying a d2 and a tsunami 1100 amp and ill be puttin all 1100 watts to the 1 12"sub...i know a guy who has 2400 watts total to 2 12" D2's

I'd definitely take the D2. More displacement, higher powerhandling, and far greater versatility, as well as a much smaller ideal box.

Nick is an awesome guy to deal with too.

With the D2, you will also have something no one else has in your area, being that it is a fairly new sub and then you will be able to impress the hell out of everyone that gets a demo. The sound quality is what is great about the woofer, it just has the benefit of having such high build quality, that is can handle a 1000watts with ease and have incredible punch to boot. The low moving mass gives it the ability to react quickly and come back to a stop extremely fast. Very low distortion. Simply put, built for your listening pleasure.

I have about 1500rms running to each Magnum D2 (2x) in a 4 cube box tuned to 29hz...and they love it very much...Subs are incredible in SQ....very comparable to the IDMAX, but can take about 1.5x the power without heating up..

I think I have the only Magnum D2's south of Santa Barbara out here in California....why not be the owner of a sub that less than 100 people have?????

Plus...Nick is the best guy I've dealt with in Car Audio. Very knowledgable and friendly, and won't bullshit you...take advantage arguably the best 12" driver on the market..

As far as power goes why not ask rangerman? He powers his pair with an earthquake d2 2400+watts come on now dude thats at least 1400per sub they will take the power and love it take a look at the site under demo cars that may help you some what.
