although i was gone for about a week until today(not that anyone noticed) it is time to strip down my main pc, make some hardware/network changes and install windows 7 ultimate x64

due to laziness, lack of motivation and general lack of interest with anything pc related lately this will probably take me at least a few days to a week so i thought i would make a thread about it so nobody got concerned about my well being

i suppose i could log in from one of my other computers or my ipod touch but this place just isnt that important to me to do that

i have been using the Win7 RC for months, works great so far

unlike so many others i never had issues with vista, i think many of them just hate vista because thats what they are told to do

that wasnt the reason for the switch, more of a desire to switch from x86 to x64

My brother just bought a PC with Windows 7 yesterday. So far, I think it's pretty cool, although it's not my computer so I haven't used it much. I love using my Macbook though. Since it's the aluminum, the big touchpad is awesome.
