CVX's or L7's???????

PS we have won 100x more SQ, and SPL awards with these L series drivers, then the round ones. So that is, clarity, loudness, and duarbility. Who is the target audience for the cvx? Just curious.

I was considering them because I only have room to seal a 12 or port a 10...I thought the cvx could stand sealed better than l7.

In comparison in KICKER...I see more blown L5s and L7s than CVRs. You can put your own meanings to what I say. I dont really care. I'm telling you what I see here at least once or twice a month.
You cant honestly tell me the square subs dont flex.....

I see RE, Fi, and others turning up more numbers than kicker.

By the way......why on the package is says "DESIGNED IN STILL WATER" and then "MADE IN CHINA"

Markey Dietrich, also, IN YOUR state...SQ....so for a short drive, you can be taught...

just because you see more blown L5's, or L7's, than CVR's is beyond me, but I can safely bet, if I cut open any of those, reading the suspention and coil, I'd show you why they were blown.

I watched Matt set records in '06. I think 3 of them. Street beat, and 2 others. It was at Ricky Smith's car audio. And I know Matt. I also know within that minute of play....the subs were almost toasted. The numbers were DECREASING. 3 to 4 dB in less than a minute. It happens, I know. ALL the time. How many times were they rebuilt?

And trust me....any ole average joe wont get the numbers HE produced either. That box he designed was superior, and it should be for the multiple days he worked HOURS on tuning that box and making sure it was perfect.

And that was from 3 SoloX 12s. If it was from L7s, the numbers wouldnt have been NEARLY as good, and they would have been gone within 15 seconds. And that's coming from him when I asked how well the L7s would do.

Anything further is useless.

3 woofers used, all year, two new cones. Decreasing 3-4 db's, ever think of VC heat, amp heat, voltage loss being an issue??? And I too, know Matt

L7 max power handing, X power handling, totally diffrent, diffrent motors, everything...with the thousands of watts he had, der.....took the X's out and did an amazing number, same power he had on the Solo X's on CVX 10's, and never hurt one....
